We rescued our dog Harvey in 2020 and we knew he was going to need training, especially with walking on a leash. We had reached out to other training facilities and we did not feel they were a good fit. When we came to Creekside Canine, we met with Sarah and we knew this was the place. Sarah explained everything in great detail which we really appreciated. She explained Harvey’s behavior, which is leash reactivity, and why and what we would need to do to help him through private lessons. Sarah did not rush us or Harvey. She made sure my husband, myself and Harvey understood the assignment. Sarah took the time to educate us on how to train Harvey. We never felt that we were having to do something that made us or Harvey uncomfortable. Sarah is very in tune with how your dog is reacting to a situation or the type of training you are working on. After working with Sarah, we are now able to walk Harvey without having the anxiety that he will pull and bark. Walks are now enjoyable! I can't laud Creekside Training too much. We have watched as our Terrior puppy learned and matured under their tutelage. I have had to add, us as well. We learned so much about taking care of and training our dog. So much is about dog owners themselves. Every facet of training of the training was well explained, well taught and we were also taught to enforce the training in home. They gave us the tools and training to help our dog excel.
